Stainless Steel - Duplex - LDX2101

LDX2101

LDX2101 is a Lean Duplex Stainless Steel manufactured by Outokumpu.
LDX2101 has excellent corrosion resistance, equal to traditional duplex grades, as well as very high strength.
LDX2101 also has very high resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking.
In suitable applications LDX2101 can be used in place of austenitic grades 304/304L, 316/316L/316Ti without cost penalty, in fact often with a cost saving, provided that redesign takes places to exploit the high strength of LDX2101.
